Are you an Advanced Placement, IB Diploma, or A-Levels Biology student?

Do you dream of becoming a physician, a nurse, or perhaps a Field Biologist? Maybe you aim to do medical research or Environmental Conservation. If your ambitions involve a degree in Biology one of these courses will be required as you begin to pursue your goals. The two most important results a student must achieve in these classes are a deep and comprehensive knowledge base in Biology, and a top score in the course’s Final Exam. If you are committed to achieving that 5 in AP Bio, that 7 in IB HL Bio, or that A* in A-Levels Bio, I can assist you in reaching that challenging objective.... Click For More

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

John borden, Principal shanghai American School, China

Christian is able to breakdown complicated concepts into simple, understandable pieces. He continually draws connections between Biology theory and real world examples that makes it real for kids. Mr. Ogle integrated into the SAS community and very quickly developed the reputation among our students as being a caring, competent, and demanding teacher. Mr. Ogle has been a great addition to our science department, to our HS faculty, and for our students.

Mr. Ogle is probably one of the finest, creative and most approachable teachers my children had in High School. He has so much to offer to the students as a teacher and on a personal educational level. He brings to his job a high degree of vitality and a refreshing pedagogy. Not only in class, but also on his field teachings, as for example in his SEASFIRE project being beyond the regular curriculum, make him an exceptional teacher. It is without hesitation that I commend Christian for his scientific contributions to students and education. He will surely have a positive effect to any scientific developing mind. It has been my very great pleasure to know him.

Christian Ogle was my biology teacher for two years in high school back when I lived in New York. Mr Ogle was able to do something all my previous teachers failed to. He made me fall in love with biology. His lectures were always rich with information, interesting, and interactive. He was able to communicate highly complex cellular processes in a very simple, fun, and enjoyable way. Mr Ogle had a direct influence on my life and my choice of major. If it weren’t for him, I would have never pursued biology and for that I am eternally grateful. I completed my PhD at 25, working as a post-doctoral research associate (Institute of Genetic Medicine, Newcastle University) in the lab that developed mitochondrial replacement therapy (commonly referred to as three person IVF), and received the world’s first license to apply this reproductive technology and prevent the transmission of mitochondrial diseases.

Mont’Kiara International School, Malaysia

Christian is passionate about education and possesses that inquisitive bug that drives his continual learning. His passion for learning comes across clearly to peers and students alike. As a very student-centred teacher, he genuinely cares about each of his students and differentiates his instruction to support individual student needs. I highly recommend Mr. Ogle as a science teacher. He has been a valuable member of our faculty.

Amin N…Former student
Mont’Kiara International School, Malaysia

My first class with Christian Ogle was in 9th grade. The combination of his teaching style, real world examples of the subjects, and the incorporation of very helpful technology made the experience exciting and the material more comprehensive. But, Mr. Ogle really helped me find my passion with the SEASFiRE program, where I worked with the team, raising awareness for ocean pollution and the environment. I am currently studying Electromechanical Engineering with a minor in Manufacturing at Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston. And I can say that the inspiration of many of my projects now and in the future has been from the time I spent with Ogle in school and out in the field.
